Fun fact about this park is that there are not only running tracks but this park is filled with sports fields. Think of some sport and this park probably has a place for it. So, if you are in the mood to get fit this is the park in Chicago for you.

Do you need to just relax in nature?

In case that you are not going on a first date, or you are not planning to go for a run, but you want to relax in some green pastures, then Northerly Island Park is a place to go. Trees, green, green grass, colorful flowers, and a beautiful lake. Sounds really nice, right? So, this can be the right park for you, depending on your mood, but it is definitely a park that you cannot miss out on while in Chicago. If you are lucky and you are moving there, make sure to visit it often, because it is good for physical and psychological health.

If you have a dog and you are in Chicago I a pursuit for a great place where you lovely, furry friend will enjoy then look no further. Montrose Dog Beach is a place for you and your lovely pet. As the name itself says, it is a dog beach. Therefore, you don’t have to worry about whether your dog is on a leash or not. They can run freely, together. It is heaven for your pup. Make sure to go there with him, because we can guarantee you that those days when you are at the Montrose Dog beach will be the best days in your dog’s life.

Something a bit more modern, you ask?

There is one park that has it all. When we say all, we mean all. It is a very old park, but it is changed throughout the years. Now you can go to this park and enjoy some dining and drinking. Also, there is a Theatre. You have heard it right, a theatre. If you do go to this park now that there is also a butterfly garden. It is heaven on earth. Anything else you may think of; this park probably has it. We didn’t say its name still; it is South Shore Cultural Center.

Jackson Park is a park where you can put down your blanket, have some food from the basket and simply enjoy the nature, the food, and the view.
